A few links to articles that you should read if you're so inclined:
*I wrote a piece for The Student Section examining the key questions that will determine the outcome of this weekend's showdown between OU and Tennessee. This matchup is extraordinarily close to me.
*4 Quarters Radio in Knoxville also invited me on earlier this week to help preview the game.
*A couple different places asked for my opinion on Charlie Strong elevating Jay Norvell to offensive coordinator at Texas:
- Over at Athlon Sports, I wrote a column on the bizarre way this situation came about. Honestly, if I'm a Texas fan, I have some questions about Strong's program management at this point.
- Wescott Ebberts of Burnt Orange Nation also had some questions for me about Norvell's offensive acumen. Frankly, these are tough to answer – the file on Norvell as a true offensive coordinator isn't that thick.
*Speaking of Texas, I would say that I'm shocked Texas and Joe Wickline reportedly turned down what looks on its face like a fair settlement offer in their lawsuit with Oklahoma State. I would also be lying, of course, given the way things are going in Austin lately.
*I can't remember if I linked to it previously, but Chris Brown's article on the TCU defense for Grantland offers a great look inside what is considered the best anti-spread scheme in existence.
