Yes, Homerism realizes that he had the Broncos taking a defensive end just six picks ago. Denver's defense is so putrid that it needs another rusher coming off the edge.
The knock on English is his tweener size. Well, it's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog. English is a scrappy, intense competitor with a quick first step on the outside.
English may seem like a reach at this point, but Homerism saw more Northern Illinois game than I care to remember, and I can attest that he's a baller. He's play with the determination of a small school guy who wants to prove himself to the big boys. Players like that deserve a shot.
