Meet Through The Keyhole

Welcome to Through the Keyhole – an Oklahoma Sooner fan podcast. You have stumbled across our Patreon page. This page allows listeners to support the show so that we can give you more content. You’ll receive written pieces, a bonus Patreon exclusive RSS feed for extra episodes, breakdowns, videos and more. Sooner fandom is a passion we all share, so let’s have some fun.

The Team

Payton Guthrie (@PaytonGlen) is the Multimedia Director for the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Basically, he’s great with cameras and other technology gizmos of the sort. Hailing from the SEC portion of Oklahoma, Durant, Payton enjoys bringing up that he’s an avid San Antonio Spurs and therefore fluent in French. He has been an OU fan as long as he can remember and looks forward to vintage and retro merchandise releases from the school. He is one of our three co-hosts and has been with Keyhole since November 2021.

Allen Kenney (@BlatantHomerism) is a longtime college football writer and podcaster. In a sea of crazy on Twitter, Allen’s OU takes are the love child of reason and logic. Allen doesn’t hate 11am kickoffs as much as us because he lives on the east coast. Since joining as a co-host in May 2022, Allen has brought his analytical and journalistic views to OU football while thinking outside of the box on a plethora of other topics surrounding the sport of college football.

Matt Burton (@IAmMattBurton) is the producer extraordinaire and sex appeal of the show. He is a producer for 107.7 The Franchise in Oklahoma City and has been with the station since 2018. One of his many tasks in the fancy sports radio business is waking up for those 11am kickoffs before the sun comes up to set up the stage for pregame shows. Because of this, Keyhole remains one of the few things to keep Matt sane. He’s been with Keyhole since September 2021.

Brady Trantham (@BradyDoesSports) is the third co-host and about the only OU fan who loses sleep over the canceled season of 1918. Brady started Through the Keyhole as Inside OU with John Hoover and Rufus Alexander in 2018 before morphing it into Keyhole in 2021 with former co-host Kegan Reneau. In November 2021, Brady was forced to leave due to his current job with the University of Oklahoma. Following a 19-month hiatus, Brady was able to return (because his new boss let him). If you have a few hours, just ask him about Bob Stoops.
