Linking Up: Red-White Game Edition

A short special edition of the links following today's Red-White Game. Given that I couldn't actually see any of it, this is all I've got to go on.

*Berry Tramel of The Oklahoman is practically gushing about Oklahoma's prospects. Tramel notes that OU coach Bob Stoops isn't doing anything to tamp down expectations for this squad.

*"Sooners might take committee approach" at running back? No "might" about it. With Roy Finch's injury history and Brandon Williams' inexperience, at least three tailbacks, and probably four, should see major action. Maybe even Dominique Whaley.

*After the Twitter debacle last year, I figured there was no chance Jaz Reynolds would even be on the team this spring. Out of all the storylines today, his standout performance was easily the most surprising. (And Dejuan Miller's performance is pretty encouraging.)

*The hype surrounding sophomore linebacker Corey Nelson continues to grow.

*Dave Sittler of the Tulsa World says OU needs some players to step up to make sure they hype doesn't get to their heads.
