Alabama Crimson Tide Ends Dominant Year On Top

It's tough to imagine a team dominating Homerism's power poll more thoroughly than the Alabama Crimson Tide did this year.

Nick Saban's team topped the poll for all but two weeks of the season, which is quite a feat when you consider the parameters of the rankings.

Figuring out number two was obviously tougher. In the end, I went with Boise State. Texas and Florida both made strong cases. However, I think you have to reward a team that finished the year unbeaten and knocked off both Oregon and TCU, no matter how weak of a conference schedule it played.
