Linking up: The worst playoff field possible; NFL picks
Wanted to take a quick second to plug a couple of my appearances this week:
*Over at The Student Section, I tried to come up with a realistic playoff scenario for this season that would give ESPN the most heartburn.
*Also, I participated in a roundtable on the college football media for Awful Announcing. Amazing how much everyone detested barristers Lou Holtz and Mark May.
*Speaking of big developments in college football media, SI.com has a new college football vertical site worth giving a look. A post today from Thayer Evans and Pete Thamel casts further aspersions on Baylor's actions in the Sam Ukwuachu case. Also, very cool that Andy Staples of SI.com has joined up with SiriusXM College Sports, which is doing a campus visit at Oklahoma this week.
*Highly, highly recommend Documentary Now! on IFC with Fred Armisen and Tulsa's own Bill Hader. Another Tulsa native, Duffy Boudreau, is part of the show's writing team. First two episodes are fantastic.
*How about some quick NFL picks?
